Find out more about Numerology
Welcome
to Dave’s Numerology Quest, this page offers an in-depth
view of your “BLUE-PRINT” with the Universe. We
live our lives, usually guided by those closest to us, our
parents, family and friends. Very seldom do we venture into
the unknown. Often we are locked into our parent’s traditional
ways. Anthony De Mello in his book "Awareness",
recalling the words of Buddha, when he said, “Monks
and scholars must not accept my words out of respect, but
must analyse them the way a goldsmith analyses gold –
by cutting, scraping, rubbing and melting”.
Numerology
dates back to Pythagoras and possibly far earlier than that.
There is proof that the Babylonians, 2000 odd years prior
to Pythagoras used "his" formulae. If numerology
can guide and help us to know more about our journey on this
planet, why not! Finally, I believe that numerology is part
of God's Creation. Therefore, why not go on a journey, order
your Chart
and find out more about Yourself.

The
“Malefic”, found in any of the main areas of your
chart, represents a challenge. It is very important to understand
and accept this challenge. Once understood you will be better
equipped to possibly correct your life path. If not understood
the Malefic hampers you achieving your "pure" Number
that it precedes. Work at removing this negativity.

Ruling Pathway Number, describes you and your characteristics.

Harmonious,
Negative and Destructive aspects are also shown; only you will
know which of these apply. Work on increasing and therefore improving

Numerology.
On any journey, inner or outer, we need road maps. Outer road
maps are plentiful enough, Inner ones are not. Numerology is this
“inner road map.” By learning about your own numerological
make up, you have an insight into your behaviour and motives (self-knowledge).
The chart is a map of the individual’s psyche, a type of
blueprint, a seed plan, a model of the energies and drives which
make up any person and their potential pattern. We are given certain
potentials, what we make of them is up to us. We have the option
to become ourselves in full flower, or produce a stunted tree
that bears no fruit - the gardener is ourselves. What is within
surrounds us: - the inner emotions, drives, desires, fantasies,
dreams, conflicts, loves, hatreds, talents; is like a magnet.
“A
man’s life is characteristic of himself.” So, what
happens to you is in some way a reflection of yourself. The Greeks
carved “Know Thyself’ on the portals in front of the
Oracle of Delphi. How can we possibly communicate positively with
other people if we do not even know ourselves? This could be uncomfortable
for many…it means we must take responsibility for what comes
to us, pick up our equal share of the creation of our worlds,
whereas it is so much easier to blame someone else for the negative
things and praise ourselves for the positive ones. A wise person
accepts what is given and expects the rest to become what they
create of it.
We
experience life through our own view points, coloured by our own
nature, needs, drives and experiences. One of the great lessons
that Numerology teaches us is tolerance, both of others and of
ourselves. Numerology maps out potentials and portrays the natural
direction in which the person wishes to go. It can extensively
help us to discover that secret frustrated self that has always
longed for expression. Some people are lucky enough, pushy enough
or healthy enough (not many of those around) to know who they
are and to not be afraid of showing that self to the world.
Most
of us have smoke screens and self-doubt to confuse the issue,
from being raised since birth to believe we ought to be different,
either by parents, church, education or the general collective
pressures of society, exacerbated by conflicting advertising messages
we receive from the media daily. Numerology helps us understand
who we are, where we have come from, our life purpose and where
we are going. We are all searching in different ways - some people
search subconsciously, being hardly aware of the search (and less
of what they seek).
Others
are searching blindly, looking for something, which they would
fail to recognize even if they found it, for they keep hoping
it is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Religions and politicians
keep these hopes alive, always promising something better, but
never delivering the goods. Thinking and/or sensitive people need
more answers to life. They need guidance, not empty promises.
The science of numbers can help to overcome sensitivity, guide
you into a suitable career, and reveal the compatibility between
you and another person, the most suitable time to change your
job, or when to get married. The Greeks, following the tradition
of Phoenician sages and the Egyptian priests, discovered the means
of employing numerology to reveal a man’s true identity
and show the secrets of the inner self in a manner which any thinking
person could follow. A simple numerological system has been adapted,
to symbolise and represent the meaning of life.

Pythagoras.
Greek Mathematician, Scientist and Numerologist who taught, "The
Principles Governing Numbers were the principles of real existence;
the elements of the Numbers were the elements of realitys - The
relationship of numbers to experience is the divine law."
Pythagoras (Known to the western world as the father of numbers)
was born around 590 B.C. and was named by the Oracle of Delphi,
who Prophesised his birth. As a young child he was placed in one
of the temples and grew up in a very spiritual environment. He
won prizes for feats of agility at the Olympic Games. He was tall,
beautiful, magnetic and everyone loved him.
After
many initiations he was given a new name "Yarancharya"
- using the letter Y = 7, the mystical and holy number. He established
a school in the heart of the main culture centre, Croton, where
he taught his pupils and exhibited his wonderful powers for nearly
40 years. His teachings, for the most part, were given in secret
and no student was allowed to put in writing, any idea or subject
given at the school. Only after his death was the rule broken.

Karma.
1.
|
The place
of the spiritual entity - Sequences of Consequences, which
cause the physical incarnation of the Soul. |
2. |
The level
or plane of consciousness in which the entity functioned prior
to its life, which contributes the moral force to the present
existence. |
3. |
Such
details and circumstances of the existence may account for
karma. |
The
life we live is a result of our actions. An accumulation of actions
is carried forward with us, hopefully these weaknesses are overcome
and possible perfection is achieved. All we are today is a result
of what we have been; and what we will be tomorrow must be the
result of what we are today. We learn from the past, we labour
in the present, and we build for the future. Karma does not mean
fatalism, but rather compensation. It is a debt of responsibility,
and these previous actions thus set in motion the result of the
wrongs that we do. They return to us again and there is no escape
from any part of them.
This
law has two distinct aspects: - |
1. |
Good
Karma is the beneficent reaction of constructive action. Fine
and noble causations produce like consequences, bringing us
joy, security and the good things in life. |
2. |
Bad Karma
is the reaction of destructive action. Evil causes are set
in motion produce evil consequences, resulting in the miseries
and misfortunes which afflict our life. |
|
When
we are born into this world there are 3 factors working together,
moulding and modifying our state of existence here: - |
1. |
Good
karma, which brings privileges of happiness and improvement,
surrounds us with such good things as we have earned. |
2. |
Bad karma,
which manifests as the difficulties of the hour and the apparent
evil fatality that hampers our footsteps. |
3. |
Action
itself, our individual expression, which is constantly making
new karma, good or bad, according to the merit of the action
itself. |
Philosophy
teaches us to be modest in success, patient in adversity and constructive
in all action. A life so lived promises future lives of greater
enlightenment and happiness. The law of cause and effect controls,
among other things, the actual phenomenon of birth itself. We
are born at the time, which we have merited, and into opportunities
suitable for that stage of our development. Each person is in
the place which he has earned for himself, and if he is dissatisfied
with his present condition, then he must set up the causes which
will result in a better state. The stars or numbers under which
the individual is born are not merely sending baleful influences
upon the person. They are administrating Universal justice, bestowing
upon each according to his own works. We can all overcome many
of the weaknesses we have by using our talents and abilities.

Date
of Birth.
A quote by Jean Paul Sartre: "We don’t do what
we want and yet we are responsible for what we are, that is the
fact."
If
ever there was a moment of total transformation, it was the moment
of your birth. In that instant, you stepped through a door in
time into a new reality—the reality of human life. You left
behind the memory of what was before, and entered the physical
realm in the purest condition: untouched by this world; not yet
influenced; not yet inhibited: and free of concepts, expectations,
judgments, and self-consciousness. Small wonder that everybody
around you instantly fell in love with you!). Yet, even at that
moment, you were a person with your own unique character, as unique
as your DNA. Everything that is you existed in potential, much
like a play that is about to begin.
Your
life is indeed like a play. Birth is the raising of the curtain;
death the curtain’s descent. The play has evolved through
various stages of preparation, but does not really begin until
you are born. When all the players go on stage, they have been
prepared for their parts. Their characters are outlined, and the
stage is set. At the moment the curtain is raised, the play itself
exists as a potential within the characters, the director, the
musicians, and the audience. In the same way, the moment of your
birth provides that broad outline for your life. Your entire life
exists as a potential that has been prepared for.
You
have ultimate freedom to do with your life as you like: to fulfil
its potential completely, or to make some smaller version of yourself.
It all depends upon your effort and commitment. You make the decisions
to fulfil (to whatever extent) the potential life that exists
within you. That is your choice. In this sense, the possible you
is implicit during the moment of your birth.

Numbers.
The
Ruling Pathway number: 40 %
On the day you were born, a record of what you are like, what
you have to depend on as you make your way in the worlds, your
talents, abilities, character and heritage from the past are outlined
and transcribed by your numbers of the month day and year of your
birth. Had your parents read this record and valued it, much uncertainty
and anxiety could have been saved, they could have known how exactly
to train, guide and direct you towards your ultimate goal, wisely
and with fine understanding. There could have been no hit or miss
training. The Ruling Number is a source of power and energy to
be depended upon and to be drawn upon as you go forth to meet
the responsibilities of your Destiny (Your full name given at
birth). The Ruling Number shows the part we came to take in life.
It must be met and cannot be changed.
The
Soul Urge number: 20 %
This is the inner urge, born of spirit, and is so strong in its
individuality that it brings forth from the inner planes of consciousness
your own spirit wanting you, yourself, to have the practical experience
shown in that special vibration upon the higher plane. These are
the desires that come from deep within you and the flame that
burns eternally in your soul. The longing for what you value most
and the way your true character can be expressed. When two souls
have the same number there is a spiritual attraction, for it brings
forth the subconscious knowledge of times past, where time and
space means little. You can draw on these experiences in times
of emergency, for you have the experience and self-knowledge to
draw upon.
The
Personality number: 10 %
This number is both the inner-self - your nature when you are
alone and you can project your inner self with no reservations
- and the outer self – the impression you make on others
- your appearance, attitude and actions. Personality should be
the avenue through which your character, talents and true self
are expressed. You have even built form and features into your
looks from past lives and this shows in your number.
The
Destiny number: 30 %
Your life’s purpose and what must be lived up to; your field
of opportunity; what you must give of yourself to others and to
life. The kind of people to meet and work with. The spiritual
mission to which you have been appointed.
